This is what Carter and Spencer were doing one day while I was trying to take a quick shower - smearing mascara all through Carter's hair. I've never put mascara in my hair so I'm not sure where they got the idea, but I'm actually glad they didn't try to put it on their eyelashes.
Spencer was up early one morning so he and I made 'faffles' together. He officially knows all I know about cooking.
I just thought this was funny. I forgot to start the dishwashwer one night so we had no clean dishes in the morning for cereal. Watching Carter eat his cereal out of this bowl was making me laugh.
I got a little reality check the other day. We were over at my parent's house getting ready to leave and Spencer wanted me to watch him ride his bike before we left. Carter was being really impatient so I gave him my keys to play with. There is a button on the key to pop open the very back door which Carter pushed Then he climbed up into the car, made his way to the driver's seat, put the key in the ignition and started the car, all in about 30 seconds time. Luckily I was right there, but I was so surprised that he knew how to do that. I guess they are paying more attention to what we do and say than I realize. Scary!
