The Aviary

A few weeks ago Matt participated in a community service project at Tracy Aviary. I had forgotten the aviary even exsisted, I don't think I've been there since my last elementary field trip (whenever that was). We decided to take the boys there and check it out. They do a free bird show that we went to and I knew it was a mistake the minute we sat down and they said that no one should stand during the show because there would be birds flying low over our heads. Well, the boys weren't that impressed with the show and were restless about 5 minutes into it. It was a looong 30 minutes for us. I thought I was going to have to crawl out of there dragging the two of them with me. The rest of the day was better though, and I think the boys really enjoyed the birds.
