Halloween 2011

The boys were pretty excited to wear their costumes to school and be in the Halloween parade.  Mario was a popular costume this year, there were three Marios in the boys class alone, and lots more in the rest of the school.  I thought it would be cute if the Spencer would've been Luigi, but he didn't want to - I guess that would have been too cliche for him. It was fun to help out with the boys classroom party, but it was also crazy!  5 year olds have a ton of energy!!

 Halloween night was nice this year.  We had dinner with friends and then, while the men took the kids trick-or-treating, us girls got to stay in the nice warm house and hand out candy.  I think all Halloweens should be this way from now on.

October 2011

We did cookies with the cousins while the men went to priesthood conference.  The kids always have fun together, and I think I was cleaning up sprinkles for a week.

 Then later in the month we carved pumpkins with the other side of the family.  We managed to make some pretty cool pumpkins!

 Grandma Joy is the coolest!

 We had a little family dinner for my birthday.  Dad always makes me my favorite pasta and shrimp dinner and Shelly made me a cheesecake.  I'm pretty sure there were enough calories for a week in that one meal, but it sure was good!
